Phoenix Star Clubhouse is run for the members, by the members. Our purpose is to grow individually, by working together and separately, to support the community and themselves to the degree in which we are able.
The Phoenix Star Clubhouse is a non-profit, community based day program offering ongoing support to individuals with brain injuries. The clubhouse will provide vocational and social support to its members. Members are full partners in the clubhouse operations. Each member will be treated with dignity, respect and given the opportunity for socialization and meaningful work.
Membership is voluntary and without time limits;
All Clubhouse meetings are open to both members and staff. There are no formal member only meetings or staff only meetings;
The Clubhouse has its own identity, including its own name, mailing address, and telephone number;
The work-ordered day engages members and staff together, side-by-side, in the running of the clubhouse;
The Clubhouse focuses on strengths, talents, and abilities;
The Clubhouse enables its members to return to paid work through individualized supports based on each member’s decision and desire to work.
