How to Help

Volunteering

The Phoenix Star Clubhouse welcome community members to participate in Clubhouse activities.  We need volunteers to help with our quarterly newsletter; help members improve their computer skills, provide nutrition information or participate in Clubhouse social outings.

Donations

Brain Injury Resource and Development Center, Inc., which administers the Phoenix Star Clubhouse program, is a 501(c)3 IRS designated non-profit.  All contributions are tax deductible.  Though Brain Injury Resource and Development Center, Inc. is supported by the Commonwealth Neurotrauma Iniative Trust Fund (Grant #07-058), the members and staff actively seek ways to raise money through donations and fundraising activities.  Currently, the Phoenix Star Clubhouse is selling blank notecards that feature prints by Roanoke artist Mark Shelton, a 30 year Traumatic Brain Injury survivor.
